Gone Fishin'

Prototype for a simple but interesting fishing system.  Designed to be played with a controller

1. Cast a fishing line into the water.
2. Wait for a fish to arrive and hook it.
3. Tire out the fish by opposing its movement
4. Once pacified reel it in.

Keep an eye on the fishing line, as it can snap, losing the fish.  Let out the reel to reduce tension on the line.  The fish can be reeled in while fighting, but this greatly increases line tension.
